imagine. a mitzvah fair!

One hundred colorful booths. In one, children (or parents) learn how to make challah. In another, youngsters learn to fashion mezuzahs out of copper. In a third, paper flowers are being made to be brought to patients in hospitals. Think how useful it would be as a recruitment incentive – a way to introduce Jewish education to prospective families in a community. Each booth will have pre-printed Mitzvah Cards or Mitzvah stickers for children to use in a special, Mitzvah board game. Imagine a curtain five feet by eight feet with a replica of the
Kotel printed on it in an Israel booth where children could write notes, which would be brought to the actual Kotel in Jerusalem. Imagine if the whole Fair came in a box, so a school or community center could set it up simply – and have fun doing it. Imagine website links to reinforce the concept and practice of Mitzvahs. Imagine live entertainment – a Mitzvah Magician, or a Mitzvah Game Show complete with Host.
