Since Afikim’s modus operandi is to generate and fund, or find funding for many different kinds of Jewish education and charitable projects and ventures, it is natural that we are approached by a variety of persons and organizations with projects or ideas that merit consideration. Given that an idea or project has validity and value, Afikim can and does provide assistance in various ways. This support, which can be arm’s length yet ongoing, has proved effective in getting projects outside the Foundation’s immediate portfolio, launched and active.

MIKEY’S PLACE
Mikey Butler, a”h, stood as an inspiration to countless people throughout the world. His courage, humor, and generosity of spirit are object lessons for all of us. The Afikim Foundation continues to work with The Mikey Butler Foundation in developing projects and programs that reflect and reinforce Mikey’s missions of life. Stay tuned for projects that will be expressed through the prism of “Mikey’s Place”.

Afikim remains active at the cutting edge of Jewish continuity by helping professional outreach personnel and
organizations improve their results by developing new programs and utilizing compelling marketing strategies
to attract attendees. Afikim’s work all across the United States has proved a boon for persons being ushered back into Judaism and for their communities.

SOJOURN – THE JEWISH AMERICAN SAGA
A newspaper/magazine published by Harry Gross and edited by Robert Kaplan,
focusing on Jewish American history from 1492 up to the Second World War, is up
and running. Afikim is proud and pleased to have introduced and connected the two
gentlemen who are spearheading this wonderful educational effort. Ideal for a variety of
